[Ad] A magically birthday!

The time has come. I’m a little excited! Why? Because my blog Baking Avenue turns 2 years today! Exactly two years ago I posted my very first blog post. And for this birthday I thought for something special and not just a Give Away. 😉

But first to other things. I want to say thank you to everyone of you! Without you I wouldn’t even do all this.
A special thank you goes to Marcel from the blog voll gut & gut voll! He created this wonderful event logo for me!
But I also have an alternative logo which you can use. I designed it myself and you find it above as well.
And do you remember the little statistics I published on my 1. birthday? If not, I mean this one. Of course I updated my statistics and this are my new figures.

By this time I released 127 recipes on my blog! And that’s what I used of the groceries which are mostly the main part of a recipe:

  • 27,6 kg flour
  • 22,8 kg sugar
  • 14,2 kg butter
  • 375 eggs
  • 8,9 kg chocolate
  • 4,8 kg powdered sugar
  • 2,8 kg Crème Double

I find this figures really impressive! And you? 🙂

And now to the part which I thought of for the birthday party! Today I start a Fairy Tale Event! I’m mad on Disney movies and I really liked the idea about an birthday event with this main topic! 🙂
And of course I tried to make a treat from a Disney movie myself yesterday. I’m not that happy with the cake and it’s not the way I actually wanted it, but I still want to show you the cake as the first post of this event (and because I don’t have the time to do it again 😉 ).

Dornröschenkuchen 1

I tried to make the birthday cake from the Disney movie The Sleeping Beauty. It looks a little different (the three fairies e.g. made a 4-storied cake) but at least my sister recognized it. 😀

And of course you can win something! 😉 What kind of birthday would it be if you’d get nothing!

The 1. price is a surprise package sponsored by Birkmann! Thanks again for this. 🙂

The 2. and 3. price can choose between the movies Aladdin and The Beauty and the Beast. Either on DVD or Blu-ray. This is my personal Thank you and not sponsored by a company!

But what do you have to do to win those prices?
